MEGGITT AIRCRAFT BRAKING SYSTEM

The MEGGITT project is a 240,000 sq. ft. production facility currently under construction in a 582 acre parcel of land at the growing Aerospace Industrial Park in the city of Querétaro.

The production operations for the MEGGITT facility will consist on the fabrication of brake systems for executive jets.

ECM International worked side by side with MEGGITT during the project development phase and preparation of bid documents for this industrial facility.

The construction of this facility consists of full height tilt up panels and a standing seam roof system with a blanket insulation system. An access control guardhouse, lunch room facility with seating capacity for 140 occupants, chemical storage space, and a salvage area for chip storage is part of the facilities support areas.

ECM International is currently involved in the facility’s construction administration phase. Quality assurance, construction schedule review, payment application control and project specification assurance are part of ECM International’s project delivery services.
