The demand for overnight delivery in the El Paso market has grown very rapidly. FedEx needed to expand their service and were in dire need of a new ramp and cargo facility. The City of El Paso contracted with ECM to build this cargo facility, and to assure this vital project was kept on schedule and on budget.

The project was completed early, thereby allowing FedEx to initiate their move into the facility. FedEx was so impressed with ECM project management, they contracted ECM for supervision of their equipment installation, and tenant improvements. ECM managed 12 separate contracts for installations of cargo moving equipment, equipment garage, and a “state of the art” electronic tracking system.

ECM used value engineering, and other management programs that resulted in cost savings for Federal Express, as well as a state of the art facility.
