ECM International provided construction management services for this new 150,000 s.f. Jabil Circuit, Inc. facility in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Services included design review, design coordination, cost estimating, scheduling, onsite construction supervision, contract administration, equipment start-up support, closeout and warranty support.

One challenge of this project was managing the construction process for completion in six months. Programs initiated by ECM into the process assured that long term lead items were ordered on a timely basis; that look ahead schedules were maintained and updated daily; that construction and material quality were acceptable; and that punch lists were developed early in the process. This was achieved by carefully scheduling critical construction phases.

Early in the project, ECM provided Jabil with significant cost savings, and best value making it a successful project. Occupancy was achieved on time allowing Jabil to start production on schedule.
