The expansion of this existing facility consisted of constructing 435,000 s.f. of manufacturing and office space adjacent to Kohler’s facility outside Monterrey. This project provided unique challenges relative to packaging and delivery of the facility. A pre-fabricated building structure required by the owner was one of seven bid packages issued to provide schedule enhancements to this large and very complex manufacturing facility.

ECM provided several staff engineers to provide assistance with the bidding and bid package evaluation as well as full time project and construction management services.

ECM office staff engineers provided value engineering and constructability services which resulted in substantial cost savings to the owner as well as establishing a long-term relationship with Kohler that continues today.
