Built in the city of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, ECM International coordinated the construction efforts of this 97,000 sq. ft. industrial facility for Lexmark International. Due to manufacturing requirements, the entire building was built as a clean room; controlled environment included special equipment for temperature, humidity and airflow. A special feature of this facility is the anti-static floors installed throughout the manufacturing area to protect electronic equipment, which is the specialty of Lexmark.

Four years after the completion of this facility an expansion was completed that included 50,000 s.f. of class 1000 clean room. ECM served as construction manager on this phase also, which included coordinating professionals, suppliers, and technicians from all over the world.

ECM’s ability to provide technical control of all project phases and to keep Lexmark informed has resulted in an excellent long-term working relationship that continues to this day on on-going projects.
