ECM provided construction management services to Mahle in the form of design review, value engineering, construction scheduling, quality control, cost control, construction inspection, and final acceptance.

ECM’s involvement in reviewing the awarded bid resulted in savings of over $1 million. During the construction phase, proper monitoring of the construction schedule allowed timely changes to be performed in order to complete the project by Mahle’s required date.

Special installations included the installation of a central flume system to recycle scrap material. In addition, ECM coordinated the design and construction of a wastewater treatment facility, which includes an oxidation pond for Mahle’s industrial discharges.

This complex facility was completed on time and within budget.
